When: Friday November 12th at 9:00 pm
EST. Registration starts at 8:30 and ends at 8:45. Seating will begin at
8:45.
Where: Manute's Hotel and Casino,
White Plains, NY.
How Much: Buy In is $50, Re-Buys are
$50. Only 1 re-buy is allowed.
Limits and Blinds: Increase every 15
minutes.
All players in a multi-table poker tournament begin with a set chip
stack. Several tables will be playing at the same time within the
tournament, as each player vies for the others' chips in an attempt to
eliminate the competition. The blinds increase incrementally as the
tournament progresses. As players are eliminated tables are "broken". We
will automatically re-assign players to other tables to maintain balance, as
well as full tables whenever possible. The tournament will culminate in a
final table with the last remaining players. The overall tournament winner
is the player that wins all the chips! The top tournament finishers are
awarded cash prizes, with prizes based on the number of tournament entries.
Specific information short cuts:
Seats will be assigned in random fashion for all multi-table poker
tournaments. Players will not be permitted to change seats.
The standard options will be available to the player when their turn
comes (check, bet, raise, call or fold).
Re-buys and Add-ons
Re-buys are allowed at anytime up until the beginning of the first break
of the tournament. The first break of the tournament will be 30 minutes
after the tournament starts. A re-buy gives the player the opportunity to
purchase more chips if they are eliminated. In the event a player loses all
his chips and re-buys are still eligible, the player will have 60 seconds to
decide whether he wishes to re-buy or not. In the event he does not
re-buy, he will be eliminated from the tournament. After the start of the
first break there will be no more re-buys allowed.
Multi-Table Tournament Rules
- Manute's WSP charges a flat $50 fee. This will help cover the costs
of Food and Beverages.
- Manute's WSP is not a party to any wager and only serve to oversee
the event and the wagers made among participants. All monies distributed
are from the pool collected from the participants at the start of the
event.
- The tournament is played until one player has all the chips. Players
may not acquire additional chips beyond the original buy-in unless there
are re-buys and add-ons. When a player loses all their chips they are
declared out of the tournament and finish in the order they were
eliminated.
- For each standard multi-table tournament, all players will start
with 1,500 Tournament Chips. Tournament Chips have no monetary value.
- All tournaments automatically start at the posted start time.
- If more than one player is eliminated in the same hand, the player
with the most chips before the hand started finishes higher. In the case
where both players also have the same amount of chips before the hand,
both players will tie for the position. If there is a tie between two or
more players, the prizes they qualify for are split evenly between all
tied players. For example, if two players tie for 2nd place, each player
receives 50% of the second place prize and 50% of the third place prize.
- In Texas Hold'em if a player who is the small blind is eliminated,
the button does not move. This ensures the big blind is not missed by
the next player in order. If a player who is the big blind is
eliminated, the button moves and one player receives the benefit of not
posting the big blind for that round. All players have an equal
opportunity to benefit from this scenario.
- The limits and blinds increase either every 6 minutes (turbo), 10
minutes, 12 minutes or 15 minutes depending on the tournament. Each
tournament has a specific level time which can be viewed in the
Tournament Window.
- Each betting round consists of one bet, and up to a maximum of three
raises (four bets total). No Limit and Pot Limit games have unlimited
raises in each betting round.
- There will be a 5 minute break every hour in a standard multi-table
tournament.
- Manute's WSP will not assist in any deals among players during
tournaments. Tournaments continue until there is one declared winner and
the payoffs will be exactly according to the prize pay out structure.
- Each player should play with the same intensity against all other
players. There should be no soft playing.
- There are no chip race-offs. All players will play with all their
chips until either they lose all their chips or win the tournament.
- With the progression of multi-table poker tournaments the Management
will assign players to tables in an effort to maintain balance, as
others are eliminated. This process is handled randomly. There is the
rare possibility of a player being required to post several big blinds
in a row. When there are ten players remaining in Hold'em , the
remaining players are combined at the "final table".
- IMPORTANT: A player has 240 seconds to make a play.
- The final table allows 240 seconds for players to continue playing.
The tournament clock that determines when blind levels increase will
pause when players disconnect. Hands at the final table that time-out
will be folded.
- Late Registration: Player registration will end after the first
player is eliminated from the tournament. In the case of our Re-buy
players will be permitted to register up to 10 minutes after the start
of the tournament.
- Towards the final stages of a multi-table tournament the prize money
raises significantly with each newly eliminated player. In these cases
where there is more than one table remaining the tournament may be
played "hand-for-hand". Tables will deal hands at the same pace, waiting
for other tables to catch up if necessary.
- Management decisions are final.
Have fun and enjoy the tournaments!
